888. Rare Irish Regency Carved Giltwood Pier Mirror Circa 1815

Stunning Irish Regency Hand Carved Giltwood Pier Bevelled Mirror offered with original compartmental mirrored plates. Early Nineteenth Century.

The rectangular bevelled plates within a gilt moulded frame with bold rope edge and acanthus leaf framed spool turned detail, gilded with alternating bands of matt and water gilding and an ebonized narrow slip.

Condition: Professionally and sympathetically restored, original back boards, the glass is in nice clean condition. Original backboards present.
