859. Fine Pair Grand Tour French Marble Bronze Busts Marie Antoinette Louis XVI 19Ct

Stunning Pair of Finely Cast Bronze Patinated Figural Sculptures of Outstanding Quality and compact proportions. Depicting the Busts of Queen Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI. 

Each bust supported by a circular carved reeded statutory cream marble socle, ending on a circular bronze collar with Acanthus leaf and beaded cast detail and a square base with canted corners, of Continental origin, probably French, early to mid Nineteenth Century. 

Condition: Superb untouched condition with good surface patination and no imperfections, except for a few very tiny flea bites to marble.
