664. Antique Pair English Coalport Three Handle Loving Trophy Cups Porcelain Urns
An Exceptionally fine and quite rare pair of hand painted Three Handle Coalport Trophy or Loving Cups Urns Vases often referred to as Tygs of Campana outline, early Twentieth Century.
The central reserve with hand paintings depicting English Landscape Scenes within a lavish raised gilded surround on cobalt blue ground flanked by gilt scroll handles ending on a decorative base with lavish gilt decoration.
NOTE: One Vase depicting the Works at Ironbridge Gorge in Shropshire Numbered 39 out of 500 pieces, the urn with gold, blue, cream and gilt colouring, with three delicate handles, and a scene on one side of Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire, with boats on the river, and smoke rising from the factory chimneys, with elaborate gilt patterns to the rest of the urn. and The second Vase numbered 39 out of 100 (1986) depicting Westminister Abbey (limited to 100 only) commemorating the marriage of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor to Sarah Ferguson with identical decoration.
Condition: Good overall condition, with no restoration anywhere, all decorative handles are perfect which is rare nowadays, see images.
