Superb Example of an exceptional Rural Landscape Scene oil on Artists board of English or Scottish origin, complete with its original stylish and ornate gilt frame. Circa last quarter of the Nineteenth Century, possibly earlier.  

Painted in abstract style, English or Scottish Rural Landscape Scene depicts a boat in a river scene with houses in the distance and large trees and cloudy sky above.  

Condition: Good condition, recently professionally cleaned. Frame inner slip has been replaced, nicely done. No visible signature or initials.
