Superb Rare Polished late Victorian Ebony Wooden Sword Stick of outstanding quality, enclosing its original square tapering polished steel blade of English origin.

The polished cow horn crook handle and sterling silver collar above a tapering ebony wood shaft The main grip modelled as a very decorative Sterling Silver Urn with applied amber cut glass detailling, unusually long bi-metal (polished brass and steel) ferrule.
No visible hallmarks but tested as Sterling Silver.

Condition: Good condition with nice patination, the sword mechanism in very good firm condition which locks firmly.
