An Exceptional and Handsome French Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze Mantle Clock Time Piece of outstanding quality. Made in France and retailed by J N Masters Sussex, England. Mid to late Nineteenth Century.
The main highly decorative case embellished with acanthus leaf and garlands ending on a square spreading base supported on four bun feet.
The circular enamel dial with navy Roman numerals bearing Retailers name, stylish foliate pierced and engraved ormolu hands.
Condition: Good overall condition with no wear to original gilding and no losses anywhere. Recently has had a general service and is in perfect working order.
