A Superb Example of a German Well Cast Figure of a young standing Gentleman on a naturalistic circular base. Late Nineteenth, early Twentieth Century.
The tall elegant figure shows a barefoot man wearing a long sleeve shirt, cropped long trousers and a trilby hat. Proudly supported on a well veined Sienna Marble plinth of octagonal outline.
Signed on marble base C HOLAND
Foundry Mark of AKT GEF GLADENBECK Berlin. (1851-1926).
Condition: Superb condition with wonderful patination, no losses to marble, Baise underneath has wonderful age-wear.
