An Exceptionally Fine Example of a Pair of English Jasperware Wedgwood Urns of good size proportions. Mid Twentieth Century.
The twin arched handle Campana form urn decorated in relief depicting neoclassical scenes of adult figures and children on white on a powder blue ground. The dome shaped cover with similar decoration and lobed finial, supported on its original square stepped base.
Condition: Superb condition, these pieces are bolted together as was originally constructed. Small very light shading to one cover, difficult to see, view image.
Impressed base marks WEDGWOOD and MADE IN ENGLAND.
