An Exceptional and Handsome French Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze Mantle Time Piece of outstanding quality. Last quarter of the Nineteenth Century.
The main case embellished with decorative motifs, half reeded columns to each side, on top is a large Urn with swags and twin goats head masks, raised on four toupie supports.
A D Mougin movement strikes on hour and half hour. Hinged dome shaped glass door. Circular original white enamel dial with Roman Numerals and stylish filigree decorative hands.
Condition: This clock has been professionally re-gold plated. Good working condition. Professionally serviced.
