STUNNING PAIR OF CARVED GILTWOOD MAHOGANY WALL APPLIQUES
A Very Impressive Pair of Hand Carved Giltwood Twin Light Wall Appliques of French Origin and outstanding quality, mid Nineteenth Century.
Each surmounted with a covered Urn with a petal finial, flanked with swags of bell flowers, centred with two oval beveled mirrors encased within Laurel leaf framed surrounds, supporting twin scrolling arms with candle sconces, the aprons below with scrolls, rosettes and bell flowers.
Condition: Good condition, these pieces have been professionally re-gilt, few old repairs. Rosettes have been stylishly water gilded.
*These fine Wall Sconces are made entirely of carved Mahogany.
