An Exceptionall fine Quality Highly Decorative Coal Scuttle of Traditional Helmet Form, raised on a circular spreading base. Circa 1900, possibly earlier.
Mark of well known english metal workers and oil lamp makers Benham & Fround (1855-1924) Chandos Street, London. Impressed mark also of Victorian date lozenge.
Condition: Professionally polished, shovel is possibly associated.
