An Absolutely Stunning & Rare Irish Well Figured Rosewood Work Casket of Sarcophagus outline. First half of the Nineteenth Century.

Made in Dublin by Cabinet Maker George Austin.

The hinged dome cover with lavish Moter of Pearl inlaid decoration enclosing an original silk lined lift out sectional interior and a secret envelopl flap under the lid.

The casket stands on its four rosewood bun supports.

Condition: Superb untouched condition.
