Fine and Imposing French Heavy Gauge Neoclassical Ormolu Vase now converted to a single Electric Table Lamp of tall proportions and of outstanding quality, third quarter of the Nineteenth Century, possibly earlier.
The tapering ovoid body cast with a view depicting four chisel cast ormolu female faces on a very ornate pierced background, ending on an ornate base with four beautifully cast paw supports.
Condition: Wonderful condition, professionally re-gold plated. No foundry marks visible. Back and front views are similar. Professionally re-wired for electricity.
