Magnificent and rare Pair of Italian Grand Tour style Petra Dura Classical Marble Obelisks of tall slender proportions, late Nineteenth, early Twentieth Century.  

The tall slender column of black marble inlaid on all four sides with either Quartz Amethyst or semi-precious fluorite Blue John. The lower square with similar decoration, ending on three step square base. 

Condition: Superb condition with no losses or dents, one is a fraction taller, see images. The original green baise is slightly worn. 

Height: (entire as shown image one) 16" (40.25cm). Width: (at base just under) 4" (10cm). Depth: (at baes just under). 4" (10cm).
