An exceptional quality and now quite scarce example of an unmarked hand decorated Coalport Vegetable Food Tureen of large proportions, complete with its original petal finial dome shaped cover, ending on a circular spreading gilt base. Signed by Peter Gosling. Twentieth Century. 

This exquisite two-piece item is hand painted by the Artist depicting Still Life of multiple Summer Fruits on a mossy ground on a pale-yellow cloudy body. 

Condition: Exceptional condition for such an early piece, some small losses at edge of cover, see image. Back and front painted decorative views are similar.
