An exceptional example of a French Sevres Gilt Bronze Champleve Cloisonne Enamel and soft paste porcelain hand painted twin handle Desk Tray of outstanding quality of workmanship. Mid to Late Nineteenth Century.  

The central porcelain base exquisitely hand painted depicting a seated Family in conversation, dressed in Eighteenth Century dress within a landscape. Raised on its four original ormolu toupie supports. Signed lower left of image. Base marks: F B S France. 

Condition: Overall very good for such an early piece, no wear to original gilding and no losses to enameling.
