Very Fine French Upright Giltwood Overmantel or Pier Mirror of generous proportions, fitted with a plain heavy gauge plate glass, contained within a stylish scroll work giltwood frame with beaded detailing.  

Last quarter of the Nineteenth Century, possibly earlier.  

Condition: Good condition for such an early piece, offered with desirable aged patination to surfaces and original mirrored plate which is not bevelled and back boards.
