A Very Elegant Pair of Hand decorated Vieux Paris Porcelain Porcelain Vases of generous and tall proportions, outstanding quality and good condition. Last half of the Nineteenth Century.
Of ovoid form with Rococo elements and shaped and pointed upper rims, the oval spreading bases with lavish gilt decoration on an off-white ground. The finely executed hand paintings depicting Summer Flowers and Old Roses, each below a waisted socle.
Condition: Superb condition for such early pieces, very light wear to gilding at high points, also evidence of gilt overpainting at side at top of one rim, see last images.
