Stylish Pair of Mid-Century English Traditional Corinthian Column Pillar heavy gauge Sterling Silver Single Light Table Candlesticks of nice tall and generous proportions.  

Mark of A T & S for A Taite & Sons. Greatorex Street and Whitechapel Road, London. 

London Hallmark for 1957.  

Each with stepped square spreading bases, the circular fluted column stems with urn shaped sockets cast as Corinthian columns complete with detachable inverted square ornately cast beaded edged nozzles.   

Height: (an impressive) 12.25” (31cm). Width: (at base) 5” (12.75cm). Depth: (at base) 5” (12.75cm). 

Condition: Good condition with clear crisp hallmarks. Fully loaded, original drip pans which are each also marked, small tiny dents at base of one. Baise underneath has been replaced, nicely done.
