An Exceptionally Fine Pair of Chinese Cantonese Hand Decorated Porcelain Vases of rare outline Gu form, of quite good size proportions, (see last image in situ) mid Nineteenth Century, possibly earlier.
The main outer bodies of bulbous form above slender flared necks, richly adorned throughout in the Famille Rose palette with hand painted panels in bright enamels in colours depicting Chinese Figures within interior scenes, other panels with exotic birds, insects, flowers and foliage. Raised on plain heavy gauge spreading circular bases.
Condition: Exceptionally fine condition, possibly never used, no losses to porcelain anywhere. These pieces are heavy.
