A Parian Bust of Clytie possibly produced by Copeland. 

“Clytie was a water nymph, and in love with the sun god Apollo, but when he abandoned her she sat broken hearted, and did nothing but stare at the sun, from rise till fall, until her limbs took root and she turned into a Sunflower, according to Greek mythology this is the origin of Sunflowers today” 

Last half of the Nineteenth Century.
