239. Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Set Pair Salts Glass Liners 1883 Nathan Hayes


An Absolutely Stunning Identical Pair of English Sterling Silver Oval Form Open Salts of good heavy gauge quality, complete with their original firm fitting old blue glass plain cut liners.  

Each with stylish gadrooned rim above a pierced body with vacant cartouches at backs and fronts and raised on four reeded supports.  

Mark of Nathan and Hayes Silversmiths. Howard Street, Birmingham, England 

Assayed in Birmingham 1833.   

Condition: Superb, no imperfections, nice clear markings. Two sterling spoons included which are not original ones.
