Stylish Victorian Lady’s or Gentleman’s Novelty Ebonized Shaft Novelty Walking Cane of outstanding quality and of English origin. Last quarter of the Nineteenth Century.  

The exquisite hand carved in relief grip modelled as perched Parrot on an ornate socle with carvings of shamrocks and berries on a sterling silver band. The quality of carving is exceptional both in the front and back areas.    

Condition: Good condition with nice patination, original bi-metal (brass and steel) ferrule. Silver is unmarked but tests as Sterling silver. Nice straight unusually long example of a very imposing Stick.
