Superb and quite early example of a Chinese Hand painted Canton enamel tall ovoid form Vase of octagonal outline now converted to an Electric Table Lamp, raised on six ormolu toupie feet. Qing Dynasty and of the period, both pieces in our opinion date to third quarter of the Nineteenth Century
Together with a similar square section single Vase of the same period.
Both items similarly decorated with alternating panels with landscape and still life of flowers views, on yellow and pale ground.
Condition: Good condition with no losses except for loss to enamel at top rim under the ormolu mount, see close image, this can be hidden from view at back, the square vase is perfect. Lamp professionally re-wired for electricity.
