An Exceptionally Fine Pair French Ormolu and patinated Bronze early Victorian Single Light Candlesticks of tall slender form, offered in exceptional condition. Third quarter of the Nineteenth Century,  

Each with unusual reeded central bronze columns above an exquisite Acanthus Leaf socle, ending with a triform base supported on three claw feet. Both columns with an applied ormolu Lizard looking down on its single climbing baby Hatchling.  

Condition: Superb condition, these items have been professionally re-gold plated and bronze patinated, original firm fitting removable drip pans are present.
