952. Antique English Crown Derby Urn Vase Centerpieces Albert Gregory Still Life 1913


Superb Royal Crown Derby Hand Painted Twin Scroll lavish gilt handle English Porcelain covered dish or centerpiece. First quarter of the Twentieth Century. 

The central reserve exquisitely hand decorated depicting Summer Flowers within a superb, raised gilt surround on a cobalt blue body. Signed lower right by renowned Artist Albert Gregory. 

Iron red Derby marks on both pieces for date 1913.  

Condition: Mint condition with no imperfections, possibly never previously used.

Albert Gregory was a renowned porcelain artist most noted for his work at Royal Crown Derby being one of their best artists of floral studies ever in the late 19th and early 20th century, working on some of the factory's finest pieces at the time. He also worked at other factories during his career including Minton.
