Stunning Edwardian English Sterling Silver Three Piece Tea Set of outstanding quality and good heavy gauge.
Of ovoid form with an unusual applied gadrooned and shell borders, each raised on four ball supports, comprising of a tea pot, sugar bowl and milk or cream jug. The tea pot with ebony handle and finial. The silver gilt milk and sugar vessels with lavish cast loop handles.
Mark of GNRH within a shield shape outline for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes. Hatton Garden London, began in 1897.
Assayed in Chester in 1907.
Condition: Superb condition with nice clear markings, with no imperfections, removals or alterations. This exceptional set was probably never used.
