An Exceptionally Fine Pair of Cantonese Hand Decorated Porcelain Oil Lamps with ornate Ormolu bases now converted to Electric Table Lamps, of large proportions, mid Nineteenth Century. 

The main outer bodies of bulbous form with hand painted panels in bright enamels in colours depicting Chinese Figures within interior scenes, other panels with exotic birds, insects, flowers and foliage. Raised on their original lavish cast ormolu bases with attractive canted corner detail. 

Condition: These Lamps have been professionally re-gold plated and re-wired. One Lamp is slightly taller than its companion, measurements below are for the larger one.
