A superb example of a German Silver-Plated Cow Horn Drinking Vessel or Centerpiece made by the World-famous silver manufacturers Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik commonly called WMF. Circa 1900.
The unusually large horn with a wide band and central vacant oval cartouche, mounted on a very ornate stand with a central bulbous stem ending on a circular spreading decorative base.
Condition: Superb allover untouched condition, some wear to silverplate, also there is a small divide at upper mount and a dent at base rim, see last few images.
