An Exceptionally Fine Example of a Single English Jasperware Wedgwood Urn of good size proportions, now converted to an electric Table Lamp. Mid Twentieth Century.
The twin arched handle Campana form urn decorated in relief depicting neoclassical scenes of adult figures and children on white on a powder blue ground. The dome shaped cover with similar decoration, supported on its original square stepped base with a later bronze underplate and four ball feet, which has been professionally done.
Condition: Superb condition, this piece has been bolted together as was originally constructed. Small hole at back where it was previously converted, view image.
Impressed base marks WEDGWOOD and MADE IN ENGLAND under bronze plate.
