Stunning Traditional Form Early Victorian English Silverplated and hand cut full led Crystal Wine Ewer Claret Jug of outstanding quality and generous proportions. Third quarter of the Nineteenth Century. 

The main outer lower body with unusual square cut pattern and lobed cut detail at shoulders, underneath of base a star cut detail. The impressive Silver on Copper mount with hinged bird beak spout above a lavish cast mount with vacant cartouches below a rose cast decoration. Back and front views are similar.  

Height: (entire overall as shown in image one) 11” (28cm). Diameter: (at crystal base) 3.75" (9.25cm).  

Condition: Superb condition with no losses to crystal and no clouding inside. The silver plated mounts show evidence of character wear to silvering, see images.
