Absolutely Stunning Lady’s Jewlery Casket or Gentleman’s Documents Box of Outstanding Quality, firmly attributed and bearing all of its unmistakable design hallmarks, including the elaborate hinged mechanism to Manufacturer and Retailer David Edwards. 21 King Street, Bloomsbury, London, England.

This exceptional piece in well grained Calamander or Coromandel with cross-banded borders and brass stringing and edging. Fitted with its original lock made by J.Bramah at 124 Piccadilly, London. 

Condition: Good condition with nice surface patination, professionally restored to include re-lining inside with decorative hand-crafted paper. Lock and key work perfectly.
