Stunning French Sevres Soft Paste Porcelain and Ormolu Twin Handle Table or Mantle Urn of traditional form and of outstanding quality, and good size proportions, raised on a plain square stepped base with canted corners. 

The twin handles exquisitely modelled as Satyrs, below ornate handles. The central front reserve depicting a couple of children fishing beside a lake within a lavish raised gilt surround, back view with a French Farmhouse beside a Lake on a rich cobalt blue ground. The firm fitting cover with an Acorn finial and similar hand paintings. 

Second quarter of the Nineteenth Century.  

Condition: Good condition for such an early piece with no losses to porcelain, bronze mounts have been professionally re-gold plated.
