Absolutely Stunning Pair of French Sevres Soft Paste Enameled Porcelain Twin Figured Handle Table or Mantle Urns of traditional square form with canted corners and of outstanding Museum quality, and good size proportions, each raised on a square stepped base, each flanked standing figures above acanthus leaf supports.  

The twin handles exquisitely modelled as elegant Ladies in period dress. The central front reserve depicting a Courting Couple in Eighteenth Century dress in landscape, back view with still life scene of Summer Flowers on a rich Emerald green ground.   

Second quarter of the Nineteenth Century, possibly earlier.   

Condition: Good condition for such early pieces with no losses to porcelain, possibly never displayed in public. Green baise has been added underneath, nicely done which covers makers marks, definately of Severs quality due to the raised tooled gilding allover.
