Stylish Hand Carved Victorian Mahogany Upholstered Stool of rectangular form and of English origin. Circa 1840-50. 

Constructed in figured mahogany, the rectangular seat above an attractive hand carved mahogany cross-stretcher frame support, ending on four decorative feet with carvings of scrolling and acanthus leaf detailing. 

Condition: Good condition, nice surface patination, professionally re-upholstered in a woven printed cotton fabric.
