An Exceptionally Fine Quality Early Edwardian Signed Austrian Royal Vienna Cabinet Deep Dish Plate of circular outline. Last quarter of the Nineteenth Century. Signed lower center KNOILLEZ, a well-respected Artist who worked for KPM (Royal Porcelain Factory, Berlin) during the Nineteenth Century.  

The central reserve with a raised lavish tooled gilt border exquisitely hand painted with three classical Maidens and a scantily clad child within a leafy landscape, after Angelica Kauffman. The outer pink border with alternating panels of lavish scrolling decoration in colours with gilding.

Condition: Exceptional condition for such an early example, very small area of wear to gilding, see final image, usual “BEEHIVE” mark in underglaze blue
