Superb Example of a Pair of Grand Tour Period French Ormolu & Bronze Cast Twin Handle Table or Mantle Urns of outstanding quality and compact proportions. First quarter of the Nineteenth Century, possibly Regency period.  

The waisted form bodies with twin scrolling handles, ending on highly ornate dome shaped circular bases with three ormolu supports. 

The stunning covers with exceptionally fine cast ormolu Maidens, one holding bunch grapes, the other a vessel. 

Condition: Superb condition with no losses or dents. Re-gilt and re-bronze patinated. No visible foundry marks, one is slightly taller, see images.
