A Very Fine Quality Pair of French Louis XV inspired Chisel Cast Heavy Gauge Patinated and Gilt Bronze Figural Electric Table lamps of outstanding quality and good size proportions depicting Bacchanal Figures of seated Winged Cherubs or Putto on a gilt patinated tree bark. Each with finely sculped features and mounted a green and white veined marble socle with lavish cast ormolu surrounds flanked by leaf cast bronze detailing, supported on four decorative toupie feet, made during the first half of the Nineteenth Century, after a model by Claude Michel Clodion French 1738-1814. 

Condition: Superb condition for such early pieces with no restoration anywhere, professionally re-gold plated and bronze patinated. Re-wired for electricity
