A Stunning Pair French Ormolu Portrait Standing Photo Frames of generous proportions, mid to late Nineteenth Century. 

The rectangular shaped highly decorative ormolu leafy frame enclosing a single portrait shape photo inset space surmounted with a lavish cast central cartouche depicting flowers and swags in the Rococo manner, the entire lower with similar detail raised on two “C” scroll supports.  

Condition: Professionally re-gold plated, the old silk fabric has been replaced, see final image. Each frame is entirely glazed at front.
