A Superb early example of an English Georgian Period Well figured flame mahogany Double Interior Section Tea Caddy of rectangular outline, compact proportions and outstanding quality, late eighteenth, early nineteenth Century. 

The hinged lid with original polished brass swan neck drop carry handle, the front with its original decorative escutcheon, raised on four bracket feet.    

Condition: Good condition for such an early piece, some surface dents here and there, original early steel hinges are present. The lock is present, key does not turn. The lining inside the lid has been replaced which is nicely done, very nice allover surface patination.
