An Exceptional and Handsome French Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze Mantle Time Piece of outstanding quality. Last quarter of the Nineteenth Century, possibly earlier.  

The main case embellished with decorative hand painted Sevres porcelain panels, half reeded columns to each side, on top is a large Urn of prosperity flanked by two naturalistic handles, raised on four stylish ormolu toupie supports. 

French movement strikes on hour and half hour. Circular original white enamel dial with Roman Numerals and original steel Brequet decorative hands. 

Condition: Good working condition. Professionally serviced. Some hairlines to porcelain face, a spots to ormolu case here and there.
