Stunning Pair French Heavy Gauge Ormolu and Patinated Bronze Single Light Candlesticks of exhibition quality and of substantial heavy weight. 

Each having a Campana-form leaf cast candle socket with original firm fitting removable egg and dart cast edge ormolu drip pan. The broadening decorative bronze central support with Acanthus terminal, raised on three elaborately leaf-capped ormolu paw supports and ending on a plain tri-form inverted base. First half of the Nineteenth Century, possibly Regency period.  

Condition: Superb untouched condition, these pieces have been professionally cleaned, some light wear to gilding and character light staining at plain areas of each base, original firm fitting drip pans.
