A Very Fine Quality Pair of French Louis XV inspired Patinated and Gilt Bronze Figural Twin Branch Candelabra depicting Bacchanal Figures of seated Winged Cherubs or Putto. Both with finely sculped features and mounted atop naturalistically modelled ormolu bases, made during the first half of the Nineteenth Century, after a model by Claude Michel Clodion French 1738-1814.
Both supporting twin branches topped with original drip pans and plain circular nozzles with lavish cast fruiting vines
The circular bases of statutory off-white marble, raised on four decorative ormolu acorn formed feet.
Condition: Superb condition for such early pieces with no restoration anywhere, professionally re-gold plated and bronze patinated.
