STUNNING PAIR CHINESE EXPORT FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN TABLE LAMPS

An Exceptionally Fine Pair of Cantonese Hand Decorated Porcelain Electric Table Lamps with later plain stepped circular Ormolu bases, of exceptional proportions, Tongzhi period 1861-1875.

The main outer bodies of bulbous form with exquisite hand painted panels in bright enamels in colours depicting busy traditional Chinese Scenes with figures engaged in leisurely pursuits within interior and exterior scenes, other panels with exotic birds, insects, flowers and foliage. Stylish stylized Dragon handles and scalloped rims.

Condition: These Lamps have been professionally re-gold plated and re-wired. Back and front views are similar.
