An Exceptionally Well Cast French Mounted Ormolu and Hand Painted Porcelain Sevres Circular Tazza of Traditional Form, possible from the third quarter of the Nineteenth Century. 

The central reserve with hand painted decoration depicting a Romantic Couple in Eighteenth Century Dress on a burgundy ground with segments of floral decoration. 

The Gilt Bronze grapevine wreathed frame with twin scrolling handles raised on three unusual Ram heads above claw supports. 

Condition: Professionally re-gold plated, some surface wear to gilding on the porcelain plate, no restoration or losses. Base marks as shown on last image.
