SUBERB REGENCY SIDEBOARD 198cm WIDE

An Exceptionally Fine Quality English Regency Flame Mahogany Twin Pedestal Bow-Fronted Sideboard, with ebony strung inlays of good size proportions. First quarter of the Nineteenth Century.

The center frieze containing one large bow-fronted drawer and a carved serpentine back splash inlaid with ebony stringing. Both pedestals each have a square flat top with reeded edges over a hinged door with two panels featuring ogee corners. Both pedestals enclosing their original two drawers, adjustable shelving and a wine cellarette, stylish polished brass pull handles of the same period have been added. The sideboard rests on ring turned mahogany supports.

Condition: This piece has been professionally lightly restored and is in superb condition, nice surface patination, wonderful associated similar period brass handles.
