A Very Fine Quality French Sevres Hand Decorated Signed Ladies Jewlery Casket or Dresser Box of outstanding Museum Quality and of oval outline, mid to late Nineteenth Century.  

The oval flat hinged lid with hand painted decoration of a portrait of an affluent Lady in period dress reserved against a cobalt blue ground with lavish jeweled gilt border gilt border. Three sides with panels of similar gilt decorations.  

Condition: Good condition with no losses and nice patination to gilding. Gilt mounts are left untouched. This piece is marked as shown.
