An Exceptionally Fine Example of an Early Hand Worked Belgian Tapestry, offered within its original Birds Eye Maple Frame. First quarter of the Nineteenth Century.  

This wonderful example is based on "Christ Among the Doctors" the Artist has eliminated all the Doctors but one. Notice the base of the Column which indicates a Temple.   

Condition: This picture is in wonderful condition for such an early piece, colours are bright and fresh with no losses. The frame which has some tiny losses is glazed.
