Stunning Pair of French Sevres Soft Paste Enameled Porcelain and Ormolu Twin Handle Table or Mantle Urns of traditional urn form and of outstanding quality, and good size proportions, each raised on a square stepped base with very ornate scrolling supports. Mid Nineteenth Century. Both artist signed lower right, see image.  

The twin handles exquisitely modelled as elegant Lion’s heads complete with handing ovals below a central winged cherub finial, Each central reserve depicting winged cherubs at play landscape, back view with similar landscape scenes. on a rich pompadour pink ground.   

Condition: Good condition for such early pieces with no losses to porcelain, bronze mounts have been professionally cleaned, the raised gilding on the porcelain is of high quality, all is present, some roughness to porcelain on top of each lower socle, difficult to notice.
