A Very Fine Quality Pair of French Louis XV inspired Patinated and Gilt Bronze Figural Candelabra now converted to a pair of electric Table Lamps of good size proportions (see last image in-situ) depicting Bacchanal Figures of standing scantily clad Cherubs or Putto. Both with finely sculped features and standing on a naturalistic bronze base mounted atop a lavish cast ormolu base with highly decorative beaded and reeded detail supported on toupie and scrolling supports, made during the first half of the Nineteenth Century, after a model by Claude Michel Clodion French 1738-1814.
Condition: Superb condition for such early pieces with no restoration anywhere and no foundry marks visible, professionally re-gold plated and bronze patinated. Professionally re-wired for electricity.
